The Silverado heavy-duty lineup is broader than ever, with 11- 2500HD models and eight single- and dual-rear-wheel 3500HD models – including a new 3500HD Crew Cab with a 6.5-foot cargo box. WT, LT and LTZ trim levels are offered, and popular features such as the EZ Lift tailgate and rearview camera system return for 2011.

Consumer Reports announced their final Top Picks list at a Washington Automotive Press Association press conference, praising the Chevy Silverado and other vehicles for beating out the competition as leaders of the automotive industry. The Top Picks car list is a collection of Consumer Reports‘ top six favorite vehicles for the year and are published in their annual Auto issue. The Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab in 4WD was added to the Top Picks list again for its performance, reliability, and safety for Buffalo drivers.
“The diversity of this year’s Top Picks reflect how competitive the industry has become,” said Rich Paul, Consumer Reports‘ Automotive Editor. “Today’s cars buyers have more choices than ever when looking for good all-around cars.”
