Already America’s top-selling minivan two years running, the 2011 Honda Odyssey provides a perfect example for the phrase “the best just got better.”

With the Odyssey’s enhanced style, fuel efficiency and added features, competing minivans will have a difficult time unseating it from the No. 1 spot.

In the next month the Honda Odyssey is expected to roll onto the floors of dealerships across the country delivering what most expect of the minivan: the family-friendliness, the utility, and the spaciousness.  But, the Odyssey adds good looks, bold aesthetic flourishes, and advanced technology features, giving minivan drivers more than they would have thought possible.

Lower and wider than last year’s model, the new Odyssey offers comfortable seating for eight, with more shoulder room and several configurations for fitting additional passengers, car seats or cargo. The exterior of the Odyssey will turn heads with its “lightning bolt” beltline, a distinctive look that sets it apart from the other minivans on the road.

The Odyssey features a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 that, while powerful, is expected to achieve 19 miles per gallon (mpg) in the city and a remarkable 28 mpg on the highway.

Pulling technology into the mix, the Odyssey features a 12-speaker AM/FM/XM/CD Premium Audio System and voice-activated Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation.  For entertainment for passengers, the Odyssey has an Ultra-Wide Rear Entertainment System with split-screen capability.

New to the 2011 model are 18-inch alloy wheels, larger ventilated front disc brakes, reworked side mirrors, available HID headlamps, and a power tailgate.

With production started, it’s only a matter of time before Colorado Honda customers get behind the wheel of the all-new 2011 Honda Odyssey.
