Sid Dillon Ford Dealer Ready For The Ford F-150 in Nebraska

The new 2011 Ford F-150 lineup, due at Nebraska Ford dealership Sid Dillon later this year, includes four engine options.

Nebraska Ford dealer Sid Dillon is excited to introduce pickup truck drivers to the new engines on the 2011 F-150 series. The 2011 Ford F-150 has received the most extensive powertrain renovation ever.

2011 Ford F-150 models have four new engines to choose from, each with a new six-speed automatic transmission. The standard automatic transmissions and improved engines give the trucks an improved fuel economy. 2011 models will be available at the Nebraska Ford dealership later this year.

Nebraska Ford dealer Sid Dillon, offers F-150 drivers four different engine options: a 3.7-liter V6, 5.0-liter V8, a version of the 6.2-liter V8 that is the base engine in the 2011 Ford F-Series Super Duty, and a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine, specially tuned and calibrated for the F-150. The EcoBoost engine will be available in early 2011 and will improve the fuel-savings of the line even further.

“Our new engine lineup allows greater flexibility for customers to select the powertrain choice that best suits their needs,” said Barb Samardzich, vice president of Powertrain Engineering. “We are in the midst of a powertrain revolution, with 30 new powertrains over the next two years, and our loyal F-150 customers are the next ones to benefit.”

Having multiple engines didn’t cause Ford to slack on any of them; all four have class-leading capabilities. Each of the engines offers the same characteristics of all Ford F-150 models: torque, horsepower, fuel economy, performance, durability, reliability and capability.

The four different engines allow drivers to pick the truck that best suit their Nebraska Ford driving needs. “The 2011 Ford F-150 lineup offers our customers the widest array of powertrain solutions,” said Bob Fascetti, director of large gas and diesel engine engineering. “From the entry-level to the high-end customer, each 2011 F-150 will deliver projected best-in-class capability, power and fuel economy along with features and conveniences our competition can’t match.”

This is the first time that a six-speed automatic transmission is a standard feature on the F-150. In fact, Ford is the first and only manufacturer to offer its entire line of full-sized pickup trucks with standard six-speed automatic transmissions. This makes the entire 2011 F-150 lineup more fuel efficient than ever, at least 20 percent more fuel efficient than the 2010 F-150 lineup when all models are available.

Ford has added several available enhancements for Nebraska Ford drivers looking to tow a large load. SelectShift, with both progressive range select and manual functions, allows drivers tow more easily.

The 2011 Ford F-150 in Nebraska will arrive at Sid Dillon later this year. More information is available at www.siddilloncrete.com
