Koons Honda in Northern Virginia has the amazing Honda Pilot ready for your family. The 2011 Honda Pilot in Manassas continues to be a high-flying family-friendly SUV thanks to Honda’s focus on comfort and capability in this right-sized eight-passenger vehicle.
Honda has taken a different approach with the Pilot, one which pays off in vast interior volume and refined behavior. Where other SUVs use a decidedly ancient body-on-frame construction method, Honda builds the Pilot as a rugged crossover.
For 2011, Honda has sweetened the equipment selection pot and made the Satellite-Linked Navigation System, previously exclusive to the Pilot Touring, available on the EX-L. All versions include a filtered air conditioning system that keeps passengers in all seats comfortable, a tilt/telescoping steering column, a seven-speaker audio system with subwoofer, tinted glass and a Class III receiver for towing.
Stepping up through the trim levels from LX to EX, EX-L or Touring adds three-zone climate control system, power seats, leather seating surfaces and heated seats, a power moonroof and more. Any way you like your commodious SUV, that’s what you can get in the Pilot.
It’s not just the options list that’s flexible either. All three rows of seats in the Pilot can comfortably accommodate adult-sized passengers. And unlike many of its peers, there’s still room behind the Pilot’s third-row seat. In fact, the 18 cubic feet of cargo space is superior to the trunk space in most mainstream sedans and can easily swallow a full load of groceries or a stroller. There’s even an extra hidden storage compartment that can augment the space by securing its locking lid.
Both rows of rear seats fold down 60/40 to clear a full 87 cubic feet of flat-floored cargo capacity. A full load of passengers will appreciate the second row’s sliding bench seat to ensure sufficient legroom in all positions. The Pilot is further family-friendly by being one of the few vehicles wide enough to allow the use of three LATCH-anchor seats across the second-row bench seat. An additional fourth bambino can be nestled into an additional LATCH position in the third row.
The Pilot’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure keeps everybody safe. The ACE structure directs crash forces around the cabin, as well as helping mitigate frontal collision danger. Standard Vehicle Stability Assist and full airbag coverage are teamed with active front seat head restraints. The Pilot’s sharp handling, stiff structure with plenty of high-strength steel and athletic chassis with fully independent suspension aim to keep you out of trouble in the first place.
The smooth 3.5-liter V6 uses Honda’s revolutionary i-VTEC system to adjust valve timing and lift for more power and efficiency. Variable Cylinder Management is a rare feature on such an advanced overhead cam engine, allowing the Pilot to judiciously deactivate cylinders and run as a four- or three-cylinder engine when possible to boost fuel efficiency. Fuel economy is 17 mpg city and 23 mpg highway for the two-wheel-drive Pilot with a four-wheel drive version paying a miniscule penalty and coming in at 16/22. A five-speed automatic transmission keeps the engine in the heart of its power band and the VTM-4 all-wheel drive system is fully automatic, putting torque where it needs to go, even on soupy surfaces. VTM also has a lock mode that operates in first and second gear at speeds below 18 mph to put the maximum torque on the ground in low-traction conditions.
The 2011 Honda Pilot is garage-friendly, easy on fuel, nimble and comfortable. At $28,045, the 2011 Honda Pilot is also easy on the wallet, despite delivering value as substantial as the shadow its ruggedly hewn good looks throw.
Get the 2011 Honda Pilot in Manassas, today! Koons Honda in Northern Virginia has all of the latest and greatest Hondas you desire and at the lowest prices! Look no further for a Honda in Virginia than Koons Honda.

Koons Honda in Northern Virginia is taking a closer look at the 2011 Honda CR-Z.
While it’s certainly possible to change your life entirely in an effort to reduce your own environmental impact, that’s not always the most practical or practicable option. The 2011 Honda CR-Z gives customers a way to score a driver-centric vehicle without bludgeoning the planet with huge emissions or a gigantic appetite.
A stylish two-place coupe that looks like it’s speeding along even when parked, the CR-Z draws inevitable comparisons to Honda’s seminal CRX from the 1980s. Just as that caroffered a different perspective on behind-the-wheel fun, the CR-Z is less about flailing cylinders, screaming rpm and swilling gasoline and more about quick reflexes and sharp handling.
The CR-Z is a thrillingly flingable car with three progressively sportier driving modes, a six-speed manual transmission and Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist hybrid powertrain that delivers lively performance and miserly consumption. Drivers can select from Sport, Normal or Econ modes, each of which adjust the response of the 1.5 liter i-VTEC 4 cylinder and high-power, compact electric motor for either more responsiveness or more input filtering to smooth power delivery in the name of better efficiency.
The key to the CR-Z’s multiple personalities is the ultra-thin hybrid-electric motor. For lively performance, electric motors provide instant torque in a way no gasoline engine could ever hope to. When the going is more laidback, the motor provides a relaxed boost to the efficient gasoline engine when necessary. The 100-volt power system is also recharged by the IMA hardware during coasting and braking, recapturing energy that’s typically lost in traditional powertrains.
Drivers who prefer to let the machinery do its thing will be pleased to opt for the available Continuously Variable Transmission. With a wide ratio spread and infinite possibilities in between, the CVT extracts the most efficiency from the engine and motor. Shift paddles put six fixed ratios right at your fingertips. Six-speed CR-Zs achieve EPA estimated fuel economy ratings of 31 mpg city and 37 mpg highway while the CVT boosts that right up to 35 mpg city and 39 mpg highway.
In addition to transmission choice, there are two different basic versions of the CR-Z. The standard CR-Z features a stylish cabin with standard climate control along with a six-speaker CD audio system with USB input, power windows and keyless entry. To that handsome list of equipment, the CR-Z EX adds a 360-watt audio system with a subwoofer, Bluetooth and Honda’s Satellite-linked Navigation System with Voice Activation and 6.5-inch LCD is available.
Sporty and well equipped, the CR-Z is also safe. The Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure directs any impact forces around the cabin, and standard front, side and side-curtain airbags complete the safety package. Vehicle Stability Assist is also standard along with active front head restraints.
For a price of $19,200 buys a manual transmission CR-Z that’s sure to get your heart racing without making your wallet bleed, and the even-more-well-equipped CR-Z EX is easily attainable at $20,760.
